Are You a Christian or a Cat?

One day a cat noticed the door of the Kingdom Hall open and went in.

He liked the quiet atmosphere, the place seemed peaceful, there was no shouting.

The songs sounded good to his ears.

At the end of the meetings, everyone comforted him.

Oh, how good he felt there!

The following week he was there, and the next week too, and the next…

And so, he started to attend almost all the meetings.

So, we ask: is he a devoted Christian to Jehovah?

Let’s see:

Does the cat pray: NO

Does the cat read the Bible? NO

Does the cat prepare the meetings? NO

Does the cat comment on the meetings: NO

Does the cat participate in the ministry school: NO

Does the cat go to the field? NO

Does the cat do personal study? NO

Does the cat have family study? NO

Does the cat go to assemblies and conventions? NO

“for Jehovah your God who is in your midst is a God who requires exclusive devotion…” (Deuteronomy 6:15)

So, we ask again: Is the cat a devoted Christian to Jehovah?

Surely now you have the answer, so we should ask ourselves;

Am I a Christian devoted to Jehovah or just a cat at the meetings?
