“What Day Are You On”?

There are days when we feel like: Paul, we just want to write letters and strengthen our brothers.

There are days when we feel like: Peter, we just want to deny everything.

There are days when we feel like: Job, we just want to die and end the pain.

There are days when we feel like: Solomon we just want guidance to make decisions.

There are days when we feel like: Jonah, wanting to run away from our responsibilities.

There are days when we feel like: Moses, afraid of not being able to speak.

There are days when we feel like: Sarah, sad because of some impossibility.

There are days when we feel like: Good Samaritan, we just want to do good, without caring who.

There are days when we feel strong like Joshua and Caleb, ready for war.

There are days when we feel like: Jeremiah, we just want to express our feelings.

There are days when we feel like: Daniel, we just want to pray fervently.

There are days when we prefer to hide in a cave like Elijah…

There are days when we want to sing and dance, like David and Miriam…

There are days when we want to cry like Hannah…

There are days when we have faith like Abraham, to overcome everything, to jump over walls and defeat armies.

“Trembling at men is a snare, But the one trusting in Jehovah will be protected.” (Proverbs 29:25)

There are days when we raise our eyes to the mountains and ask ourselves “where will our help come from”?

This does not mean that we are strong or weak, it means that we are simply human and limited.

I don’t know what day it is today for you, but remember: “Regardless of the day, Jehovah is with you.” There are more who are for us than who are against us.
