“Old or New Testament”

Family without children

In this study, you and your family will practice your knowledge of the Bible by selecting books from the Old Testament (Hebrew-Aramaic Scriptures) and the New Testament (Christian Greek Scriptures).

Print 39 boxes on one sheet of paper and 27 on another. Above the sheet with 39 boxes, you will write “Old Testament.” Above the sheet with 27 boxes, you will write “New Testament.”

Then, you will print and cut out the names of the books of the Bible.

The goal is for you to place the books of the Bible in their respective places, in the Old or New Testament.

Family with children - teenagers

In this study, you and your family will practice your knowledge of the Bible by selecting books from the Old Testament (Hebrew-Aramaic Scriptures) and the New Testament (Christian Greek Scriptures).

Print 39 boxes on one sheet of paper and 27 on another. Above the sheet with 39 boxes, you will write “Old Testament.” Above the sheet with 27 boxes, you will write “New Testament.”

Then, you will print and cut out the names of the books of the Bible, shuffle it, and distribute it randomly among family members.

The goal is to place the books of the Bible in its respective places, in the Old or New Testament, and in order.

Family with children - children

In this study, you and your family will practice your knowledge of the Bible by selecting stories from the Old Testament (Hebrew-Aramaic Scriptures) and the New Testament (Christian Greek Scriptures).

Print out the titles of 6 stories from the “Old Testament” on a sheet of paper, you may use as example:

The Story of Creation
The Flood
The Tower of Babel
The Story of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
The Story of Joseph, Jacob’s Son
The Liberation of the People from Egypt

And also print out the titles of 6 stories from the “New Testament”, for example:

Mary and the Angel
The Birth of John the Baptist
The Birth of Jesus Christ
A Woman Touches Jesus’ Garment
Jesus Walks on Water
The Prodigal Son

The goal is to place the Bible stories in its respective places, in the Old or New Testament.

To make it more appealing to children, you can print out images of each story and paste it under each title, especially if the children do not know how to read yet.
