Family Worship – tip 10

In your family worship gather articles that teach how to improve in the field ministry. You can also include the videos and training we received at the meetings, the book Benefit From Theocratic Ministry School Education, the book Apply Yourself to Reading and  Teaching, among others. You can find the videos on the jw.org website and the books in the Watchtower Library which is available for download through the website. Using these tools, talk about each member’s difficulties with field ministry and study and together train using the material gathered. You can do this by simulating the service from house to house, preparing for a study or a question that you have difficulty answering.

With the period we are going through today of social withdrawal, the field ministry has also been affected, since we are no longer meeting for the ministry and really going from house to house. But, this does not mean that our work has also stopped. Today, we have the opportunity to improve our preaching work over the phone and even by letter. You can use this provision to train your testimony over the phone using the methods found in the materials gathered, after all, many of them can be applied even in this modality. You can also develop templates, or sketches, of letters to use later. If your kids are taking classes online, teach them to witness online too. How can they testify to colleagues? You can talk to them about what they would like their classmates to know and then, together, find a story or publication that talks about that topic on jw.org website. Then, talk to the teacher and ask for permission to send a file to the families, then copy the link of the publication or material on the website and paste it into the group of classes.
